Memory Trace is a staged multimedia installation that explores the the role of memory in digital disembodiment. Our memories are stored through our body and physical senses. But it is imperfect, flawed, selective, and missing. These errors, however, are essential to our humanity. As we become removed from our bodies and enter into new worlds and virtual identities, what will become of our memory? Does everything last forever? How will our errors transfer to digital personas? How will we remember?
